about buzzing confusion

I began writing this blog so that I can work out ideas in psychology to sharpen my understanding of human life, reorganize my perspective, and discover meaning in my life. The journey of writing and exploring ideas in psychology have helped analyze and reintegrate what has always been an extremely complex topic. I hope to share this exploration with anyone wishing to come along.

These articles take a closer look into aspects of psychology with the hope of assimilating them into the bigger picture of what it means to be a thinking, feeling, self-conscious, social, and cultural creature. In that narrow perspective, connections grow like neurons in the brain, to other ideas which build on each other and form something greater than what either idea had on its own. That is why this website also contains guides that is designed to locate those specific topic in the vast web of psychological thinking.

For you, I hope to make this more than a self-help list of prescription advice. The goal is to subtly change the way we see the world, and by doing this, almost by accident, we sharpen our tools for life.

the guide to psychology

The guide to psychology consists of five pages where you can explore the ideas in cognition, motivation, selfhood, sociality, and culture. These are essentially maps of the structure of the mind and body as I have conceived them in my explorations in the subject.
